Description
History of Café Caleta
In the 50’s, two fishermen from the area of sa Caleta, in Sant Josep de sa Talaia (hence its name) had to do their military service in Galicia, where they discovered the Queimada. On their return, they began to prepare this recipe with coffee, which is undoubtedly very reminiscent of the famous Galician recipe.
How do we make it?
First, we make a syrup with water and sugar. When it is ready, we add brandy and rum, cinnamon stick, lemon and orange peel, coffee beans and decaffeinated coffee.
