Introducing ourselves
The Ibizan Juan Fluxà founded the family business Destilerías Ibiza in order to promote the richness of the most traditional products of the land and the Ibizan sea, such as herbs and liquors, updated with a touch of modernity to be able to enjoy them through the five senses.
Destilerías Ibiza was born from the passion for land, local plants and artisan work that Juan acquired over the years in his family environment. Juan Fluxà falled in love with Ibizan traditions and became one of the biggest defenders of the local products of the island.
This is how the adventure of this young Ibizan businessman begins and his determination to bottle the heart of the Ibizan forest in an absolutely natural and artisanal way. In this process he recovers the successful family recipe of Ibizan herbs (with designation of origin) that has passed, with distinction, the tasting of the most experienced old “payeses” ( Ibizan peasant farmers ).
And the sea-land combination creates the spiced salt line, extracted directly from the Ses Salines Natural Park, a World Heritage Site.
The Fluxà company is in constant process of innovation and development of new products mixing aromas, flavors and textures that bring the island in the most tasty and captivating way for those who desire to try it.
